A religious ceremony inside a church where a person in red and gold vestments, likely a bishop, is performing a blessing or confirmation by placing a hand on a young woman's head. A small group of people, including women and elders, stands around them in a supportive gesture.

St. Paul’s Needs Your Feedback

May 2025

St. Paul’s Episcopal Church has a long history of faithful ministry in Duluth. Now, with God’s help, we move forward to strengthen our facilities and mission for the years to come. We have partnered with GSB Fundraising to explore the feasibility of a $2.6 million capital campaign scheduled for 2025. To guide our next steps, we need your response to a short survey. Before Sunday, May 25, please go to www.stpaulsduluth.org/future to find the link to the survey. An email will be sent with the link this weekend as well.

Observance of Memorial Weekend

Sunday-Monday, May 25-26, 2025

There will be one worship service at 10:00 am on Sunday, May 25, no 8 o’clock service.

All Church Offices will be closed on Monday, May 26, in observance of the holiday.

Plant Sale for Outreach

Got a Green Thumb? St. Paul’s Outreach Team needs you: Saturday-Sunday, May 31-June 1

Help us produce a Plant Sale on June 1 to benefit Laundry Love. A team from St. Paul’s offers human dignity and shares love with our neighbors by offering them the capacity to do their laundry at Spirit Valley Laundry on the 2nd Tuesday of each month. This service is offered weekly with different congregations to cover every Tuesday; it is completely volunteer-run. Our only cost is operating the machines, which costs $500-$800 each week. Help us raise funds by thinning your crowded plant beds or houseplants and bring what you can share to sell. We’ll be collecting plants at the first floor entrance (by the office) on Saturday, May 31, from 5-7 pm. Bring clean large nursery pots (for hostas, flowers, ferns) by May 24 — leave them by the carriage house garage, or find some there if you have plants to dig up! Contact Deacon Pat for more information or to volunteer: Deacon@stpaulsduluth.org

We Practice a Faith Rooted In Love, Curiosity, Hope, and Service

St. Paul’s is a faith community shaped around ancient practices of Christian worship that include prayer, song, study, and celebration. We believe that God’s love extends to all, and that Christ’s table is set for all who are hungry.
