A religious ceremony inside a church where a person in red and gold vestments, likely a bishop, is performing a blessing or confirmation by placing a hand on a young woman's head. A small group of people, including women and elders, stands around them in a supportive gesture.

Festival of Lessons & Carols

Sunday, December 15, 6:00 pm

Please join us for this festive service, which foretells the story of the birth of Jesus in scripture and song. In the tradition of King’s College in Cambridge, England, we present this annual event at St. Paul’s, gathering by candlelight in the freshly-greened church. A festive cookie reception will follow in the Parish Hall. Please attend and bring a friend!

Celebration of Life

A Memorial Service will be held for Heath Ransom, beloved member of our congregation, on Monday, November 18, at the church. The visitation will be from 10 am – 11 am, and the funeral will be held at 11 am, followed by a luncheon in the Parish Hall. You may read Heath’s Obituary on the Dougherty’s Website.

Advent Forum

The next faith forum in our Wednesday series will be All About Advent, on November 20. Please join us in the Parish Hall at 6:30 pm. A simple supper will be served at 6:00 pm and a simple Eucharist will be held in the sanctuary at 5:15 pm. We will focus on the birth narrative of Jesus of Nazareth and the surrounding events as found in the Gospel according to Luke (Chapters 1 & 2). Luke’s birth narrative of Jesus is rich with theological and spiritual questions which are foundational in shaping our understanding of who Jesus is. The discussion of Luke’s birth narrative with be led and facilitated by Fr. Rick Swenson. Please join us if you are able as we begin to prepare for Advent and our celebration of the birth of Jesus Christ our Lord and Savior at Christmastide.

We Practice a Faith Rooted In Love, Curiosity, Hope, and Service

St. Paul’s is a faith community shaped around ancient practices of Christian worship that include prayer, song, study, and celebration. We believe that God’s love extends to all, and that Christ’s table is set for all who are hungry.
