Learn to make prayer beads, bake pretzels (and learn what they have to do with Lent), learn about ancient Christian spiritual practices, eat together, and sing together.

Adult Faith Formation

Bible Study, Christian Spirituality Small Group and More

We believe that Christian Formation is for everyone!
We frequently host Bible Study groups, New Member groups and Book Study groups. Our current Book Study group is studying the Gospel of John, with its themes of light, truth, and believing (in the midst of tumultuous times). Bring your favorite Bible. Fridays, 10:00 am, in the Olcott Room.

Another Bible Study group is studying the Prophets, with the Rev. Sue Sommer. The Old Testament gives us a wealth of other prophetic voices, all of whom spoke words not their own to leaders who did not want to hear it.
Thursdays from March 5 onwards, 10:00 am, in the Olcott Room.

For more information, please contact Maggie at rector@stpaulsduluth.org.

Wednesday, March 4 – St. Cuthbert & St. Aidan, presented by Nancy Diener, Tom & Barb Elliott.
Lindisfarne (Holy Island) is an ancient holy site in the border lands between Scotland and England. This sacred site is the home of two Celtic saints who lived in the 7th century, and helped Christianity develop into what we know today. They helped bridge the differences between the Roman Christian church and the church developing among the Celts. Nancy Diener has served many summers at an archeological dig on Holy Island. Tom & Barb Elliott traveled the pilgrimage route this past summer. They will share about their experiences and what they’ve learned about these unique saints in our  history.

A large, historic stone building with a slate roof is partially covered in vibrant red ivy. The building features arched windows and a tall, square tower. The sky above is blue with scattered clouds. Bushes and trees surround the structure.

We Practice a Faith Rooted In Love, Curiosity, Hope, and Service

St. Paul’s is a faith community shaped around ancient practices of Christian worship that include prayer, song, study, and celebration. We believe that God’s love extends to all, and that Christ’s table is set for all who are hungry.
