Children & Youth Ministry Feedback Gathering

Parents — still time to fill out the survey!

Maggie and Sophie would like feedback from families with children of all ages (birth to 18) about St. Paul’s children and youth programs this last year. We want to build the best possible program for 2026-2027, and we need as many parents to provide feedback as possible. We are considering a tween youth group for 4-6th grade students, and need assistance on picking the best time for this activity. An online survey is available for all families with kids 0-18: https://forms.gle/bWgR1h2T1cwPF7qbA

Two young girls smile and hold a tray of heart-shaped cookies with pink and red frosting and sprinkles. They are in a room with tables and chairs, likely participating in a fun cooking or baking activity.

Lake Superior Sunday

Sunday, July 19, 9:45 am – Note Change in Time!

St. Andrew’s by the Lake Episcopal Church
2802 Minnesota Ave., Duluth

We will once again celebrate Lake Superior Sunday together with St. Andrew’s by the Lake! Join us for beach church, a relaxed Eucharist on the shores of the Greatest of the Lakes. Bring a chair or blanket to sit on. Mary Dragich will be our preacher. The service starts at 9:45 am (allows us to time our arrival with the bridge). Carpooling from St. Paul’s is encouraged. Since the beach is not accessible for folks with limited mobility, our 8:00 am service will be held at St. Paul’s for anyone who cannot join us. If it rains, or conditions do not allow for beach church, we will worship in St. Andrew’s sanctuary.

Organ and Baritone Recital

Tuesday, June 30, 2026, 7:00 pm

Agnes Barthel and Ben Quist are an organ and baritone duo hailing from St. Olaf College in Northfield, Minnesota. This summer, they are traveling across the country to present a series of free recitals featuring the works of Bach, Vierne, Mendelssohn, and more. The program will include a combination of both vocal and organ literature, ranging from baroque to contemporary. A freewill offering will be gratefully accepted to offset their travel expenses this summer. This recital will be followed by a reception in the Parish Hall.

Adult Faith Formation

Bible Study, Christian Spirituality Small Group and More

We believe that Christian Formation is for everyone!
We frequently host Bible Study groups, New Member groups and Book Study groups. Our next Book Study group is discussing The Book of Joy, by the Dalai Lama and Archbishop Desmond Tutu. Fridays, 10:00 am, in the Olcott Room.

Another Bible Study group is studying the Prophets, with the Rev. Sue Sommer. The Old Testament gives us a wealth of other prophetic voices, all of whom spoke words not their own to leaders who did not want to hear it.
Thursdays, 10:00 am, in the Olcott Room.

We Practice a Faith Rooted In Love, Curiosity, Hope, and Service

St. Paul’s is a faith community shaped around ancient practices of Christian worship that include prayer, song, study, and celebration. We believe that God’s love extends to all, and that Christ’s table is set for all who are hungry.
