A religious ceremony inside a church where a person in red and gold vestments, likely a bishop, is performing a blessing or confirmation by placing a hand on a young woman's head. A small group of people, including women and elders, stands around them in a supportive gesture.

Blessing of the Backpacks

St. Hildegard of Bingen’s Feast Day is September 17. In honor of this incredible scholar, mystic, composer, and doctor, we are having a special celebration for all our students and educators. Kids, teens, and educators may bring their backpacks (or bookbags) to church on Sunday, September 15 at the 10 am service for a blessing.

The Spirituality of Gardening

Wednesday Church Night starts back up again on September 11. Our first adult forum will be on the Spirituality of Gardening. If you’re a gardener, or enjoy learning about gardening, or would like to become a gardener, please join us in the Parish Hall at 6:30 pm. A simple supper will be served at 6:00 pm and a simple Eucharist will be held in the sanctuary at 5:15 pm.

Join Deacon Pat in this summer read of John Mark Comer’s book, Practicing the Way, recommended by The Rt. Rev. Craig Loya, X Bishop of ECMN. Description of book: Feel like there’s more to life? You’re right! Best-selling author Comer unpacks God’s vision for the journey of our souls; reveals obstacles holding us back from authentically following Christ; and suggests countercultural spiritual practices–like hospitality, simplicity, and community–that can connect us with a vibrant, lifelong faith. Rethink your assumptions about discipleship and embrace apprenticeship under Jesus. A follow up small group will begin on September 18 to do the Practicing the Way Rule of Life Course.

We Practice a Faith Rooted In Love, Curiosity, Hope, and Service

St. Paul’s is a faith community shaped around ancient practices of Christian worship that include prayer, song, study, and celebration. We believe that God’s love extends to all, and that Christ’s table is set for all who are hungry.
