A religious ceremony inside a church where a person in red and gold vestments, likely a bishop, is performing a blessing or confirmation by placing a hand on a young woman's head. A small group of people, including women and elders, stands around them in a supportive gesture.

Festival of Lessons & Carols

Sunday, December 15, 6:00 pm

Please join us for this festive service, which foretells the story of the birth of Jesus in scripture and song. In the tradition of King’s College in Cambridge, England, we present this annual event at St. Paul’s, gathering by candlelight in the freshly-greened church. A festive cookie reception will follow in the Parish Hall. Please attend and bring a friend!

Make an Advent Wreath

Sunday, December 1, 11:15 am

It’s time! This year, the first Sunday of Advent happens to be on December 1. After the 10 am service, you are invited to stay to make an Advent wreath of your own. We will be wrapping, gluing and merrymaking in the Parish Hall after coffee hour. Please join us! Email kids@stpaulsduluth.org if you’d like to volunteer your talents.

Advent Series

Thursdays, December 5, 12 and 19, 5:30 pm, Parish Hall

During Advent, Fr. Rick will facilitate a weekly discussion about the Blessed Virgin Mary. He invites anyone interested to join in these discussions.

Faith Forum

The next faith forum in our Wednesday series will be the Spirituality of Making Art, on December 4. Please join us in the Parish Hall at 6:30 pm. A simple supper will be served at 6:00 pm and a simple Eucharist will be held in the sanctuary at 5:15 pm. The program will be a panel discussion of St. Paul’s parishioners who have personal experience with this subject — names to be announced soon. The discussion will be facilitated by our Rector, the Rev. Maggie Nancarrow. All are welcome.

We Practice a Faith Rooted In Love, Curiosity, Hope, and Service

St. Paul’s is a faith community shaped around ancient practices of Christian worship that include prayer, song, study, and celebration. We believe that God’s love extends to all, and that Christ’s table is set for all who are hungry.
