A religious ceremony inside a church where a person in red and gold vestments, likely a bishop, is performing a blessing or confirmation by placing a hand on a young woman's head. A small group of people, including women and elders, stands around them in a supportive gesture.

Annual Meeting

Sunday, January 26, 11:15 am

Each year at the end of January, Episcopal Churches across the nation host their annual business meetings. On this occasion we reflect on the life of our church, hear from each other about ministries and work, elect new Vestry members and learn about our parish finances. If you missed the Annual Meeting, you may request a copy of the Annual Report from the Parish Office.

We elected three new Vestry members at our meeting on January 26: Jay Austin, Susan Furo and Wendy Saliin. We also re-elected Leslie Brunfelt as our Treasurer.

Adult Faith Formation

Bible Study Groups, Christian Spirituality Small Group and More

We believe that Christian Formation is for everyone! We currently offer several groups:
Thursdays, 10:00 am, the Rev. Sue Sommer leads a Bible Study on the book of 1 Kings. All are welcome. Even if you have not participated before, never fear: this group will provide context. Bring a Bible with you to class. This series continues through February 20.
Thursdays, 5:30 pm, Fr. Rick leads a small group studying the history and traditions of Christian Spirituality, guided by the Philip Sheldrake book, The Spiritual Way.
Fridays, 10:00 am, Lara and two retired priests of our community, Barb and Marta, are leading a Bible Study of the Acts of the Apostles. How did the first Christians learn to walk the Way of Jesus? This series continues through February 28.

Welcome Guest Preacher

Sunday, February 23, 10:00 am

On Sunday, February 23, we will have a guest preacher, Pastor Mark Olson. He works as the White Earth Mission developer for the ECMN and the Northwestern Synod of the ELCA. This ecumenical position develops shared ministries in indigenous contexts, developing leaders and cross-cultural theological education. Mark has worked for many decades at Leech Lake and White Earth. After church, Mark will host a coffee hour forum about the faith communities he serves in White Earth, some of which are historically native congregations affiliated with Enmegabowh.

Faith Forum

Wednesday, February 26, 2025, 6:30 pm

ECMN Migration Ministries is the topic — our previously scheduled topic will be postponed to March 26. Join us at the Faith Forum on Wednesday evening, February 26, 6:30 pm. Eucharist will be at 5:15 pm; supper will be served at 6:00 pm. All are welcome.

We Practice a Faith Rooted In Love, Curiosity, Hope, and Service

St. Paul’s is a faith community shaped around ancient practices of Christian worship that include prayer, song, study, and celebration. We believe that God’s love extends to all, and that Christ’s table is set for all who are hungry.
