Music Ministry at St. Paul’s

Music at St. Paul’s is diverse and a community effort. Community singing is a core part of who we are. The whole congregation sings several hymns at each service. We also have a chancel choir that sings music from all over the world, a handbell bell choir that plays once a month or so, a brass ensemble, drummers and guitarists, and opportunities for teens and children to sing and play in church.

A group of six people wearing black outfits are playing handbells in unison. They stand in a line, each concentrating on their music stands, which hold sheet music. The setting appears to be indoors, with a stone wall in the background.

Music from Around the World

At our 10 am service, you will hear traditional hymns on our organ, played by talented organists in our congregation. You will also hear traditional spirituals, musical offerings from our teens and children, drums and classical guitar. The Episcopal Church is part of the global Anglican Communion, so worship also includes music from the Caribbean, Africa, and Latin America.
